SEE THE RICHES Of OUR CHAMPAGNE ESTATE IN AMBONNAY

Almost equidistant from Reims, the ancient site of Royal Coronations, and Epernay, the seat of the most prestigious Champagne houses, Patrick Soutiran Champagne Estate has been cultivating vines for many generations. Today it is run by Estelle and Fabrice, independent wine makers and producers, who value and respect tradition.

A UNIQUE LOCATION

Set on the southern slopes of the Montagne de Reims, the village of Ambonnay is part of the “Grand Cru” denomination. The topsoil on the estate, rich in chalk and magnesium, is the ideal medium for the growth of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. On a vineyard covering 3 hectares, our team has long been proponents of sustainable farming methods. For the last 22 years, we have been working with our wine grower colleagues to install pheromone diffusers, which attack the butterflies that destroy the grapes by preventing the males from finding the females, thereby avoiding the use of insecticide.

AUTHENTIC EXPERTISE, LOVE OF THE LAND

Our team, driven by high quality standards and traditional methods, is keen to promote the richness and diversity of Champagne wines. For this reason we refuse to engage in mass production which only leads to a standardized taste. For us, making champagne is above all a matter of  tradition.

FROM VINES TO STORAGE TECHNIQUES, NOTHING IS LEFT TO CHANCE

To ensure rich, complex wines and blends, we draw on traditional skills. Our wines are aged in Burgundy oak barrels or stainless steel vats that preserve the unique characteristics of the land, producing a quality wine that is both distinguished and aromatic.

Please feel free to explore the estate after a tasting session or after you visit our old flintstone vaulted cellar dating back to the 18th century. To find out more, please contact us by phone or use the contact form on this website.
